Error at Import of an airbag-modell into HyperMesh

Hi there,

for my bachelor thesis, I need to add an airbag-model in a existing car-model. But when I try to import the model I always receive the error: Error reading from feinput process.

I started wondering myself, if the model, which is a .xml Madymo-file, is compatibel with HyperMesh, or if there are other mistakes?

The file is attachted to this request.

Which version of HyperMesh you are using? Did you trying importing this file in 13.0 or older versions? In the current versions i don't think Madymo .XMl files are supported.

Currently I am using the 14.0 version.

I tried to import the file in several different versions, but I always receive the same error message.

Do you maybe know that else could be the problem?

HI @muemarc

From the Madymo file I can see that you are using a V7.4 release

This may not support in the current version of HyperMesh. In HyperMesh, we support till V 7.0

You can change the format in text editor to import the file. I made changes to the file and here is the attached,

But export may not be possible as some entities are not supported.

The error message doesn't occur anymore, but instead a window pops up with the message:

A segmentation error occured.

Do you want to save your model?

Hi,

I am able to open the same in 2017.2 but in 14.0 I have the same issue.

Can you update to 2017.2 and check if that helps?
