Export Element ID - Density File

Hi,

i made a topology optimization and now i would like to Export a text file which inlude the Element ID and the corresponding density. It should be look like this:

1 0.1565

2 0.166003
3 0.187902
4 0.237256
5 0.327358

Is it possible to create such a file?

Do you want optimized Element id & corresponding density. Any specific reason to have such file?

sorry for the late answer, i was on holiday.

I Need that file for a comparision of different solvers. i would like to do a consistent reanalysis. tosca and ansys automatically write such a file.

Is there a way to get that file in hyperworks?

Hi Andreas,

Please include DENSITY card to output density of elements for a topology optimization.

Goto Control Cards>> DENSITY. At the end of the analysis a file with extension .dens will be written in the working directory.
