Problem with output results in hyperview.
Hello,
This year I'm designing a formula student wheel in carbon fibre. The problem that I'm facing is that with some of the layers ( only the layers where the fiber direction is not 0°) show no results in the big part of the wheel. the pictures are in the annexes. Pictures of it are in the annexes. The other plots like the maximum stresses, displacement, ply or bond failure work perfectly. But now i'm not sure if the results are correct due to some results are not available in some layers.
does anyone encounterd this problem also or does anyone know what i did wrong?
Big thanks in advance!

Hi JBosmans,
I cant open your model because of compatible issues. But one thing I can tell you from the pics, Von Mises is not a composite failure criteria and you should not base your decisions with it. Von Mises is for ductile metals. Search for Tsai-Hill, Tsai-Wu, Maximum strain and Hoffman criteria as they can be used in Optistruct.
Also check if there is layers of the non 0º in the areas you cant see them, because it looks like there isnt. Or if they are there it is not with the name of the layer you are seeing I guess.
Best regards,
Gonçalo

Hi @JBosmans
Our devs are looking into this. Meanwhile can you request results in .op2 format and check if that gives you right results?
Or Run this file and check the resutls
