I have a question in terms of the ESLM in Optistruct. Are the equivalent static loads calculated and applied to the mesh by the optimizer based on a previos dynamic non-linear FEA or must the ESL´s have to calculated manual?

the loads from the dynamic analysis should be mapped to your optimization automatically, when using Equivalent Static Load Method.
