hi, 

 

i want to optimize cost of 2 Matrial-Truss (1D, steel and aluminum), i do not know, how / wilch optimization-card shall i creat or change (as response) .

    How is the cost of your material calculated? if it is calculated per mass i.e. per kg, then you can optimize the part with minimize mass as the objective.

    Hi Rahul,

     

    e.g. two Material Truss: Steel: Price 20 $/ Kg,  Alu: Price 15 $ / Kg:

     

    Obj-Fkt: f (X) = mass_steel * 20 + mass_alu * 15 .
