How to assign many Properties to many Elements in one componant Autmatically without using hand

Hallo,

i have a 1 component with 500 Elements. i would like to do Sizing Optimization.

i want to assign different property to each element how to do that ? (offcourse without hand because it take alots of time).

Hi Tamer,

Do you have geometry?

There is a script available which convets nodal thickness to PSHELL property. but his requires .fsthick file to run. As a work around you can edit the .fsthick for each elements and use the same for assigning the thickness.

i have one component includes only mesh no geometry? why do i need geometry? it should be element based or ?

I was wandering if there is geometry available thickness could be mapped to nodes as nodal thickness (possibility).
