COMBINATION OF PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE ANALYSIS

Good Day,

 

Im planning to do a combined analysis by applying Pressure and vibration on a assembly and to obtain temperature as output.

 

Can anyone please help me do that.

i have tryed searching for tutorials , but i have not found one.

 

I would be really thankful if anyone could guide me through the process.

    Hi Govind,

     

    Please let me know what do you mean by vibration?

     

    Are you going to apply a enforced displacement?

     

    In such case, you can combine multiple loads using LOADADD in OptiStruct.

    Hello Prakash

     

    I have to do a design an Ultrasonic horn for Plastic insertion welding to be used on a Ultrasonic welding machine.

     

    The horn tends to vibrate vertically at a frequency of 30K Hz with a constant pressure of 3 bar on the rear end (top side).

     

    It is about simulating this condition in ansys and finding out the temperature produced at the bottom end (welding side).

     

     

    I have come across a journal paper where they used similar condition to find the temperature in a Disc break setup for Automobile's.
