I have started using solidthinking and I like the nurbs curve editing.
I wonder if there is some handling similar to Bezier curves, you know like illustrator.

the Advanced Curve Edit (Tools > Transform > Advanced Curve Edit) tool is what you are looking for.
This tool allows you powerful manipulation of the curve with full control of the curvature radius and the tangent direction at any point. Freeform or by numerical input.
