Conversion from LS-DYNA to RADIOSS

Hi everyone,

 

How can i convert LS-DYNA model into RADIOSS completely or most effectly?

    Hi,

     You can convert the Dyna model into RADIOSS using HyperCrash.

     Make sure you are using the latest HyperCrash 17.0 for the best translation. Start HyperCrash and pick the RADIOSS user profile.  After HyperCrash starts, go to File>>Import>>Ls Dyna, and select your Dyna model.  During import HyperCrash will convert the model to RADIOSS model..

    Hi,

    I have done a conversion from Ls-dyna to radioss using Hypercrash. After conversion, I am seeing that all rbodies has become free and shown as free 1d elements. How can I avoid this?

    Hi Gopal,

    Normally the rigid bodies from Dyna will get perfectly converted to rbody in RADIOSS.

    If possible, please share the model file or a small patch of the model so that we can try the same.

    I was able to get rid of this by deleting free nodes in model checker run.
