Tube welding

Hi,

I would like to connect the 'bracing_1' to 'bracing_2' and connect the 'bracing_2' to 'flange' component, representing a weld, without remeshing any of them.

I've tried spot, seam and area connectors with various options but none of them worked, after running the simulation, the connected components weren't constrained together.

What is the most simple method to connect components with non-connecting mesh?

Your model is so simple. At your place, I'll try to work with surfaces firstly to get all connected. After that, the mesh should be ok for both tube.

This is only a dummy part, and in some cases I would have a more complicated model. Also, for example if I want to examine the displacement of a structure, therefore the quailty of welds are not important, and the process would take more time with meshing than applying a few connectors.
