Type 11 (Edge to Edge) 2D Shell contact assign problem

Hi Sir,

           I am doing Nonlinear analysis using shell elements While giving contact I'm facing a problem in Type 11 (Edge to Edge contact). Could u pls tell me, How to give a contact between 2D shell elements? 

 

I'm attaching my .rad file please suggest me, where I made mistake.

Hi Yuvraj,

As a workaround, create the free edges for the components (Tools>Edges or Shift+F3). From contact surface panel, select card image as LineSeg and create master and slave contact surfaces selecting the free edges from the elements selection menu. Then you can recall the same in the interface defined.
