How to create a displacement coordinate system?

Hello,

I need to create a displacement coordinate System for certain nodes. I want to define 3D welds for Femfat and this need to be done before loading the file in femfat.

Has somebody an idea, how to create this or does exisit therefore a tutorial?

Hi, is it possible in FEMFAT? (i don't know this solver), but in optistruct/nastran you just create a system and enter panel analysis>system>assign, select nodes, select the system and click 'set displacement'

How can you automate the creation of the local system for welds or in my case, springs? I have rivets along a line on a curved surface and would like to create local systems perpendicular to the surface on each node.
