AcuSolve CFD _Heat Transfer from one body to another.

Hello,

I have one assembly where, coolant is flowing (with some pressure / velocity) through a hole drawn in the solid heated plate,

Can we calculate the heat transfer from the heated plate and the coolant(i.e. cooling rate of the heated plate)

Yes this is possible. Kindly refer to the Workshop1 : Conjugate Heat Transfer for a similar application. I would recommend attending an AcuSolve training at your nearest Altair office.

And yes conjugate heat transfer is generally the first exercise done in such trainings (although it depends upon the trainer).
