Radioss SE analysis licensing error

Hello HyperWork users.

I have encountered a problem with Radioss analysis, somewhat connected with my license.

Due to lack of separate Radioss programe in SE, we've built engine inside HyperMesh and tried to run analysis. However, each time I run Radioss message below pops up. I've checked ipconfig/all with license already (since I changed Internet provider), as well as re-downloading license file and substituting it.

 

At this point, I honesly strive for any new idea what might be wrog with it.

Provided, you need my in- or output files, I may attach them in the next post.

Hi,

I'm able to run the same file. 

The HyperWorks Student Edition package comes with Radioss solver. From Analysis page, select Radioss and run the analysis. Please try this and update the progress.

This issue is resolved. User is using multiple cores command which is one of the limitations when using Student Edition.

Hi HyperWorks users,

 

I have the same problem as darnik, and I was wondering if there is any fix to this. I was doing the RADIOSS crashbox tutorial for honeycomb impact attenuator.  

If this is a result of the limitation of the student license, does this mean that I would need to acquire the full license to perform any RADIOSS analysis?

Hi,

You can run this honeycomb impact attenuator tutorial in HyperWorks Student Edition. For RADIOSS the only limitation for Student Edition is the model should be less than 100,000 nodes and so this tutorial will run without any issues.

If you can share the model file we will review the same.
