Hello,

I try to map temperature results from a CFD analysis to a structural analysis. For this, I have created an Abaqus Input with the temperature field and imported it to HyperMesh. When I start the analysis, I get an error message:

  *** ERROR # 2038 ***
TEMPERATURE(LOAD)=1 (SUBCASE 2) references temperature set
which does not exist in bulk data section

What needs to be done to fix this error?

Kind Regards

    Hello,

the problem is that you try to solve an Abaqus Input with the OptiStruct solver. OptiStruct needs a different format of the input file however. You can transfer your data from Abaqus to our OptiStruct Solver using the Tool -> Convert Functions. However, please check after your conversion that the Loadstep (= SUBCASE in OptiStruct syntax) contains the TEMP field entry which references the loadcollector containing your temperature.

    With kind Regards

     Jan
