Hello, 

I'm new here /emoticons/default_smile.png' alt=':)' srcset='/emoticons/smile@2x.png 2x' width='20' height='20'>.

 

How is the function ('[funct_ID1] Function defining f') defined? What variable is on the x-axis and what is on the y-axis?

Is it possible to built a limiter with this spring type?

fct_ID1:

Function identifier defining f depending on flag Ileng...

 

Ileng: Input per unit length flag (Integer)

= 0: force in the spring is computed (see Comment 6)

= 1: all input are per unit length (see Comment 7)

 

there a a lot of comments in the solver manual.

X - delta l
