Problems With Solidthinking On External Monitor

I hope someone will be able to help me. I have just begun learning solidThinking and really enjoying it, until I ran into some frustrating issues. I am using a MacBook Pro 13', connected to an external monitor. I am not mirroring, but rather have Evolve in a separate space on the monitor. One menu bar displays on the monitor and the other on my laptop. The menu bar on my laptop works, but the menu bar on my monitor does not. The interface buttons on my monitor work, but on my laptop they do not. I cannot resize the window to fit my laptop screen so it only fits fullscreen on my monitor, nor is the window on my monitor or my laptop draggable any longer. When it was draggable, it would sometimes get stuck between the two displays since I would not be able to click the title bar to finish the move. When I would click on a menubar item on my laptop, it would open the corresponding window on my monitor, but then i would not be able to click anything on that window since it is now on my monitor, nor am I able to drag that window back to my laptop because it is unclickable and therefore undraggable. So basically a third of the program works on my laptop, a third on my display, and a third is inaccessible to me. Another issue on my monitor is that sometimes the interface icons do not fully load. What loads are my recent tools; the rest is just gray padding. That's all for now.

What type of monitor/display are you using?  Are you connecting with a display port to VGA adaptor or HDMI?  I am using a MacBook Pro 15' with two external displays and occasionally I get a refresh issue that clears up if I activate Mission Control (F3) and select the Evolve window.  I assume you are running OSX 10.9.  If so, what options do you have selected for Mission Control?  You may try deactivating all the options except for 'Displays have separate Spaces'.  Let us know if that changes anything for you or not.

    Thanks,
