Imposed velocity curve editor
Hello,
I am performing a tensile test analysis in hyperworks (radioss bulk format). I am trying to create imposed velocity on one end of tensile bar while the other is fixed. I know the procedure for applying imposed velocity and creating the curve editor but I don't know what the X axis and Y axis in the curve editor represent. I am guessing X axis represents the time for which the load is being applied and Y represents the load applied. Am I right? If yes, can you please tell me what are the units of time (milliseconds or seconds) and load (N, kN, lbf, etc..)?
Thanks in advance,
Parag

Hi,
Please maintain unit consistency in your model.

Thank you Rahul! But am I right regarding the axes representation? Does X represent time and Y load?

Yes....X represent time and Y load...
Follow Tonnes, mm, sec format, which is an industry standard. At this case load will be in Newtons, Stress in MPa.
