Increase in Error

Hi Datta,
In case of a larger positive energy error, the source of this energy has to be identified. Please check the model for any Incompatible kinematic conditions which can lead to such a situation.

Hi,
You can also go for making an output block for parts and DEF as output variable. This will give you the energy plot for each part and increases in energies can be observed from here.As the time of run is very less at this moment, go for reducing the animation time step size to observe anything from the animations , sometimes it helps.

Thank you George and gopal_rathore for the reply. In my Energy plot total energy is increasing, which should not happen. I am attaching the out files can you please check and tell me what is possibly wrong??

Hi Datta,
Total Energy value should be somewhat constant throughout . But if the Total Energy varies significantly there is some major error in the model created or defined.
In the engine out file we can see that the time step is dropping badly, especially in the interface. Please check the interface for any penetrations and clear if any.
Also, for rigid body the master node is connected to an element which is not recommended as there is a chance for an incompatibility to occur and mass and inertia can be added locally on to the node.

Ok will check that, Thank you George.

Hi Datta,
I was going through the model there are lot of penetration and some intersection issues. Also the minimum element size is 1.26 and this will lower down the time step even after the interface issues are resolved. Kindly make minimum element size to 4 or 5 mm for maintaining a healthy time step and yes rbody master node is on element nodes, this is not recommended. Kindly make these changes and then try to run the model.
