I have found 500 joule negative internal energy in my model. Is it serious problem for my result accuracy ?
Note : My model consists of foam and metals

Please check for any initial penetrations in the model and check the starter out file for any warnings.
Also create time history output for all the parts in your model using /TH/PART and plot the energy curves for each part.
Please double check your material definition to make sure they are reasonable and don't contain any mistakes.
Well, is negative internal energy serios problem ?
We need to trace out what is causing this negative internal energy and then only we can conclude.
I have run this model both with foam and without foam.
ı have seen negative internal energy just in model with foam.
and i want learn that negative internal energy on foam is important problem or not ?
If its from the material, then you have to recheck the material parameters especially the curves defined for the material (loading/unloading curves for foam).
