Hi,
I cannot find the trim/break tool for curves, a search has produced sketch mode trim and break tools but I do not have that icon anywhere?
try to use the 'Intersect Curve' or 'Break Curve' tools (see attached picture, pressed button at Curves).
Best regards,
Mario

Thanks Mario,
I looked online and came across the trim/break sketch tool that had a broken line with a red X so I was looking for that tool, it must have been the old way?
Hi Dtech,
The tool you are looking for is 'Divide Curve'. The break curve tool is no longer available.
The Intersect tool is a hybrid tool that can be used to intersect two cuves or use a tool curve to intersect a target curve.
Thank you Arjun.
Hello. My name is Kevin and am new to EVOLVE. As with all software, there's a learning curve and especially having used other CAD tools in the past , one sometimes tries to associate what they've learning in other programs to the current one; in this case, EVOLVE.
I'm attempting to simply 'Trim' a solid object with a single 2D surface plane bisecting the object I want to trim. I'm assuming I use the Boolean Subtract for this purpose and it almost works, however, I can't seem to control which side of the 'cutting plane' the subtraction happens on. It ALWAYS subtracts from the same side. Is there a way to tell EVOLVE which side of the cutting plane needs to be subtracted? Or am I using the wrong tool? If so, which one do I use in order to accomplish this function?
Thanks in advance!
Since you have one object that is a solid and the other is a surface the best tool to use would be the Intersect tool.
