TYPE 7 contact

hi,

type 7 contact isn't working in my simulation the slave nodes are penetrating into the elements, also when i choose the slave nodes i do not get 'Slv node' mentioned near each of them in the graphic interface in hypermesh, i already tried changing the Gapmin and i didn't work. any ideas to why this is happening?

Please review the interface created and ensure master and slave are properly updated.

If this issue persist please share the model file through the secure dropbox link.

Hi,

Since its an edge to edge contact try defining the same with Type 11 contact which is used to define Edge to Edge or Line to Line Interface.

Please try with the same and update.
