Hi,
I have to simulate a component made by PA66 and it is exposed to a change of temperature and to thermal expansion.
I've stress\strain curves temperature dependent and I'm looking for a material law where I can insert this curves.

I'm trying to use law74 because I saw it is a material temperature dependent but I don't know what is the meaning of fct_ID_E, or C_E.
Can you help me please?
Is law74 correct or there is one better?

Thanks in advance

    hi Marta,
A lot of help material is present in Altair Hyperworks help.
On your ribbons, you will find the help button<chrome opens<type your material name/matlaw74< all the parameters will be defined in that.
Or simple search for fct_ID_E, or C_E in its search bar. you will get the desired info.

    Help me back
    1. have you done non linear geometric analysis using optistruct or radioss ?

    2. if yes, explain the significance of buttons under matx02(Johnson crook material) using optistruct.

    3. I am trying to get stress strain curve for some lattice structures.

    Thanks n regards.

    Hi Ashu,

thank you for your answer. I know any kind of help but I didn't find it so useful.

I'm trying to do non linear geometric analysis using radioss but I'm not sure I'm doing right.

I don't understand your 3rd question. Could you explain it?

    Thanks.

    Hi Marta,

You can use Table ID where you can refer to yiled stress and strain. Refer to help manual for more information and example tables.
