Macro Dynamic Analysis

Hello, I would like to know how to create a macro (script) using OptiStruct and HyperStudy for dynamic analysis (modal, harmonic and transient) of a free cantilever beam 1D. How to create / import geometry, put materials and properties, meshing, put loads and run the analysis.

    Modal, harmonic and transient  analysis can be done using Hypermesh GUI with Optistruct user profile.Refer Optistruct online tutorials for step by step process.

    If you want entire steps to be customized i would recommend you to contact local or your region Hyperworks support team.See attached screenshot for list of tutorial we have.

    I wonder if I can save what I do in a macro in HyperMesh (tcl file) and how / where I can edit it?

    all the operation you do in hypermesh.

    command would get saved in program directory with file name command. cmf file.
