can I use thin metal sheet to connect to wire conductor or non-meshed coils?

I am simulating AC magnetic inside a cabinet which I wish to use thin metal sheet to model it. In this scenario, the cabinet is connected to PE wire, which can be modelled by either a solid metal conductor or a non-meshed, composite and open ended coil. The physics check gives me various errors such as 'unable to determine the formulation', etc. In a word, if I replace the thin sheet model with a solid metal for the cabinet, the problem vanishes. However, I d like to know how to use the thin sheet metal in Flux 3D.
Is it allowed to connect thin sheet metal to a coil conductor and couple it with circuit components?

I do not really understand the meaning of your asking: Only coil conductor regions can be linked to coil conductor circuit components, and in 3D there is no face region of type coil conductor. Could you please specify?

If I attach a solid conductor on a thin sheet metal, would the current on the solid conductor flow onto the thin sheet underneath? I wonder if the conductive connectivity is built in 3D or shall I need to assign terminal connections for the solid and thin sheet via the circuit?
Attached are two applications I made:
In my application, it would be desirable to model the wide bus plate using thin sheet metal and keep the solid metal pad, which is used to connect current sources. So I created two Flux 3D projects as attached. The first one has two solid metal electrodes on either sides of the thin sheet bus plate; the second project has both solid electrodes on the same side of the thin sheet. The current source is modelled using non-mehsed composite open end coil.
The Geometry, Meshing and Physics checks are all right. However, the solver stops without a clear reason after I start to solve it using the reference value (frequency 5000Hz in AC magnetic application). Please let me know what is wrong.

What you try to model can be done, but a part of the thin conductor region must overlap each solid conductor. (the electric contact can not be only a line between the thin conductor and the solid conductor).
Secondly, a few precautions must be considered when using non meshed coils and thin conducting regions in the same project. In fact, the formulation of the air volume around each one must be different, so both can not exist in the same air volume. To avoid that, you must create an air volume surrounding the non mesh coil, or the thin conductor region.
That should solve the problems you met.
