Variable Loading (Nastran Interface)

Sir,

     I have a crankshaft on which i need to apply combustion load which changes with angle/time. How do I apply in Hypermesh to solve the problem in Nastran.

I have values of forces for each 30 degrees of crank angle. Please help me with this problem

    Dear Pratik,

     

          Create DAREA load collector of required load amplitude at the node of interest, Import normalized load versus time data using TABLED1. Then reference DAREA & TABLED1 in TLOAD1. In this way time dependent load can be applied.

    You can make use of Equation option in Force/pressure panel to create variable load.
