MODCHG example

I created a example for contacts. Similarly you can create using element sets.

many thanks for the example. Your example works perfect for both contacts and element sets.
When I apply the same method on my model it doesn't work.....
Using MODCHG for contacts doesn't seem to be a problem. Deactivating element sets result in the error message
*** ERROR # 4772 ***
CONTACT 6 is active in subcase 1, while its associated
element 123509 is inactive.
where the mentioned element isn't deactivated at all.....
We already noticed that only solid elements can be deactivated. Unfortunatelly, our model is a 2D shell model, where we now try to deactivate a set of 3D elements. Any hints?
At least we'll try to find the cause of the problem next week.....Thanks again for the working example!
