I got this error during a linear static + normal modes analysis using a large model (60290010 DoF). Which is the DoF limit using Optistruct?

For linear static analysis only I get this error:

    Hi @ahenkes1

To understand what is wrong we need to understand the model setup/configuration.

Could you please share the model file with us?

You can use the file transfer link in my signature below to share the file.

Unfortunatly sharing is not an option due to owners rights.... my question is, is there a hard node, element, DoF limit?

    Hi,

Yes, It is around 14M. I will confirm the exact number after I get a feedback from dev team.

Meanwhile can you include PRAM>>HASMASSM card and check if this helps?

The hash table-based method is used to reduce the memory requirement for the assembly by a factor of 5.

    Hi @ahenkes1

You could try using the 64bit integer version of OS, which does not have any size limitations.

    Go to PARAM>>I64SLV>>YES
