ERROR # 2133, slide contact

Hello everybody,

I have a question relating to the contact of two surfaces. I’m setting up a topology optimization of a wheel carrier (see the picture below). The model consists of several connections which are merged to my non-designspace (red). Two bearings (green) apply all occurring forces to two bearing shells which are part of the non-designspace as well.               

I already created contact surfaces and interfaces using CONTACT - SLIDE as type. As soon as I try to run the optimization I receive the following error message (AUTOSPC is turned off):

*** ERROR # 2133 ***

 There are d.o.f.s that must be constrained, see the above table.

 the number of d.o.f. = 19295

What do I have to change to run the optimization successfully?

    hi @Pano

     

    Go to COntrol Cards>> PARAM>>AUTOSPC>>YES. This activates AUTOSPC.

     

    Check if you are able to see the progress when you activate AUTOSPC.
