maximum number of rows in curves column

hii all,

I have a problem regarding rows of curve section. I have nearly 7000 point cloud coordinates when I import it in curve section it only took first 2500 points. can somebody tell me how to increase those number of rows

    Hi Nikhil,

    Normally the function may contain any number of points. 

    Can you try manually adding (copy-paste) these X-Y data after adding the rows?.

    yes sir i have coppied it manually. it shows all points in this window but when the actual analysis starts it took only 2500 points

    Hi Nikhil,

    It should work 7000 coordinates.

    Which HyperWorks version are you using?. Is it a Student Edition?

    Can you share the curve data file (.txt or .csv) so that we can check the same at our end.

    Hello,

     

    I tried creating a function from your xlsx file. In the GUI it is showing only 2500 values but if you export it, in the .rad file you can see that all the values are being exported.

     

    You can try that and confirm by opening the exported file.

    sir,

    i checked that but when the actual analysis is run, it is taking only 2500 points. the effect can be seen in results

    I also have almost 2000 coordinates - do I have to manually add 2000 rows before I can enter these 2000 coordinates (it only adds 10 oder so rows at a time) or is there a way to do it quicker?

    Hi @rea2

     

    You can use create curve option to import data from text editors. 

     

    Goto XYplots menu>>Create>> Curve and load the curve data
