Hello,
I am trying to simulate a leaf spring in OptiStruct.I have successfully imported my model/geometry from Solid works in IGES(.igs) format.But the moment my model shows up on the solver screen a message pops up saying 'permission denied' at the bottom left of the hyper mesh screen. Even though I could carry out meshing, ply generation, material creation, laminate etc with the permission denied message ON I wont be able to review any of the solver functions for instance fibre orientation, different ply layers etc.
Can anyone please let me know where I am going wrong and how to get rid of this permission denied thing so that I can see my different ply layers and fibre orientation.
