Model correlation

Hi,

I would like to compare the modal deformations of an experimenral model and a numeric model. For this, I use the option Model Correlation of the NVH. I load the experimental results issued from LMS (.unv) as a reference file. The correlation file is an .h3d (normal modes analysis). The first attached image shows the screen  after Load. The next step is to choose the node pairs, I did Scan. The second image shows the screen after Apply. Firstly, I am not sure that this result is correct. Secondly, HV gives an error message and shuts off while clicking on MAC.

How can I solve the issue ?

Thank you.

    Hi, Rahul,

thank you for this information, it will be  very useful.

I've found why I had such a huge deformation on the second image, it is due to the error in the .unv file. It was corrceted. However, I still have this problem of shutting off of the HyperView while trying to get a MAC. I loaded 2 same .unv files, so normally it should give a MAC perfectly diagonal, but HV refuses to give a MAC. Do you think it may come from the errors in unv file? It works well when I do the same thing with 2 identical h3d files.

    Hi @Alina

Does the same happen when you use a .unv and .h3d file?

Does both the .unv files has mesh of the structure?

    Can you please check this?

It works, it was an error in  my .unv file. The error was rather difficult to find, i had 2 times the node N1 in each set.

    Thank you for you replies.
