    Hi Fily,

You can mount rigid elements to make it rigid.

You insert for elastic modulus too high :-) It can be rigid body.

For example steel's elastic modulus 2.1e+5. If you can 2.1e+25 it can be too rigid

    Hi,

My comments and suggestions is based on the assumption that you are using Radioss solver for RBody:

1.Create Rbody using 1d : Rigids:Multiple nodes with calculate node.(masternode should not e connected to any existing node in the component)

2.Avoid dependency(two dependent nodes should not mate in one region)

let me know if it helps.

    Regards

    Rahul R

    Hi,

You can model a Rbody (as Rahul R) suggested inside the cylinder.

@ no_frost:  Increasing E value for an explicit is not at all recommended as it may change the time step and also affects the results. This procedure may valid for a linear static analysis.
