Optistruct Solver error 9

Hi,

 

I'm using Hyperworks 12 Student edition  with license file specified for Hyperworks 13 (also student edition). So far, I don't have any problems with license using Hypermesh but yesterday I tried to run analysis using Optistruct and following errors showed up (see attachment). I downloaded license once again from Altair site and nothing's changed.  Could somebody help me please? I have to run this analysis asap.

Hi,

it says that your license file is missing. Go to the desctibed path and check it. If a file is there, open it with notepad and look if its valid.

If not, maybe you have to sign up again for the student license.

 

Another way, if you have access to a license server ist o set a system variable:

 

Name: ALTAIR_LICENSE_PATH

value: the adress of the licese server. eg. 2400@xyz.com
