    There are two ways to reduce the length of 3D Elements

     

    1.  For mapped geometry, you can simply enter the small size as compare to older size.

     

    2.  In Conventional Method, Mesh the geometry with 2D elements & with smaller element size by improving Quality Criteria , you can convert them in to 3D Elements.

     

    In both the above cases, you should delete the old HEX Elements first.
