Optistruct analysis does not shoe any displacement or stress data

Hello Community,

 

fairly new to hyperworks. been using the optistruct to get the highest displacement of an assemly with 6 components. the components are connected and boundary conditions are added. however when i use the optistruct solver. the contour plot does not show any deformation. what could be wrong?

Hi Kanishka, 

It's hard to tell. If you can share the model and *.out file, it should be easier. My guess is there are some basic modeling issues. You can find useful articles regarding debugging or modelling checks by searching the key words. 

You can also share your header file, or copy and paste the I/O option section and subcase information section in the reply.  If you are not familiar with the format of the header file, you can have a look at the picture and link below:

Additionally, if it's a linear analysis, you can compare your analysis with online help tutorials to see if anything is missing.
