Round Tool
Is there any technique or rules to follow when applying the round tool?
Once completed the model I wish to apply rounds. However, I work my way around the model and when I reach an edge that will not round the only option I see is to delete all of the previous rounds and start again? This is time consuming and isn't giving me the results I wish for.
Also, if your model has many edges to round, how many edges should you round at once ? Or should each individual edge have its own round?
Thanks !

Hi Matildaswan,
Round tool can be used to apply rounds to either one or more edges at the same time. A single round object can have multiple edges with different rounds. There is no set number of rounds that an object needs, it really depends on what end result you are trying to achieve.
Attached are some examples where Round can be used multiple times to apply the same radius on different edges or a single round operation can be used to apply different values on different edges. An edge can also have a variable radius which means it starts with one value and change to another.
I recommend referring to our help document on how to apply rounds effectively and using the right technique.
Thank you
