I have to do a static analysis with contact.
(1) So is this comes under quasi static or nonlinear implicit analysis?
(2) What is the difference between both the two types?

Qausi static is where load is applied slowly so that the solver tries to keep the structure in equilibrium. This may or maynot include contacts
Non linear implicit analysis is where non-linearity is involved (contact, material, etc..) whose event duration is high.
