What is the significance of 'Incude Connectors' checkbox in Optistruct page?

In a simple model with two bolt connectors, I seem to get same results with or without the check box being selected. What is its significance?

    If you check this box the connector definitions will be written at the end of your deck.  Since this info is not needed or used by the solver including it should not affect the results.  If the info is included in the input deck then the connectors will be automatically created if import the deck into HyperMesh.
