Fill Volume Between Two Components

Hello,

I am trying to eventually fill the empty space between two components with a tetra mesh. The components are a sphere that encloses a box. The components were originally mesh, but I created surfaces and solids for both components, yet Volume Tetra  (and the Tetra mesh subpanels) are still creating a tetra mesh that fills the entire sphere, rather than just the area between the sphere and the box. Please let me know if you have any recommendations for what to try next. I have attached the picture. I am trying to fill the space between the light blue sphere shell and the dark blue box.

Thank you.

    1. Extract face from 2 current components

    2. Split geometrical surfaces by faces from 1.

    3. Do surface mesh on surfaces created on 2.

    4. From 1. & 3. you got closed 2D mesh => Fill with TET mesh to get volume.

    HTH,

    HTH,

Thank you for your response, but it appears that a 2D surface mesh does not work for the spherical shell
