Motionview import step file

hello,

 

In student addition 17.0 import cad or fea dialog box 'Allow hypermesh to specify the mesh option' is not active I cant select that. Its automatically open the geometry in Hypermesh .  Please help how I can import .step file in motionview?

Hi @Harshal

 

This is one of the limitations in MotionView Student Edition. It is not possible to invoke HyperMesh while import CAD like the full version. 

 

You can anyway, import the CAD data. Click OK to start importing the CAD without manual meshing.
