Any PID controller examples available?

I am a student and i was trying to simulate a PID controller. Are there any PID controller examples available? I would be very thankful.

Yes, VisSim has a number of PID's both fixed point and floating point. You can see an autotuned PID under the VisSim menu Diagrams > Examples > Applications > Optimize > PIDtunez You can insert a PID into your diagram by selecting Diagrams > Toolbox > Controls > PID

If you have downloaded the VisSim/ECD package, then you can find a number of PIDs controlling torque and velocity loops in the motor control section for both PMSM and AC Induction motors. Look under Embedded > Examples > Digital Motor Control > {AC Induction, PMSM}
