NLGEOM analysis with pretension

Hi!

Is it possible to run a NLGEOM analysis with bolt pretension. I find that pretension is not suppoerted in geometric non-linear analysis. Is it really so? Is there some workaround solution?

I'm using HW version 12. I see that version 13 has a new analysis type: large deformation non-linear analysis. Would that support bolt pretension subcase before loading?

Hi,

In 13.0 patches it is possible to do bolt pretension with material nonlinearity.Please try with HW solvers 13.0.213 patch(latest patch).

Hi, can you explain where the pretension loadstep is linked to the NLGEOM loadstep card?
