Lattice optimization

I want to control the diameter of beams in lattice design, can anyone suggest whats the best way. I understand that LATPRM,MINRAD is the bulk card that needs to be used but I keep getting errors. Appreciate if anyone can give me an example of input deck with parameter used.

FYI- I am using Hyper works 13.0.210

Hi,

During the second phase of the lattice optimization beam optimization can be done using size opti.

You need LATPRM MINRAD and LATPRM CLEAN cards added.

what error do you get?

Hi Prakash,

I don't necessarily get an error but Optistruct does not recognize this particular parameter. Attached is a copy of input deck. Can you take a look and let me know where the problem is.

I am using 12.0 and unfortunately .fem is not useful with the version I am using.

Can you share the .out file?
