hi,

   when we give load in spcd as 25 N for about a set of 25 points.will it act as distributed load or as point load of 25 N for each point?

Thanks,

Jahnavi

    I think that each node of yoyr set will be charged 25N (to test !!!)

    If you wan distribute the load overs the all nodes of the set, use RBE3 element.

    @jahnavi

    Connect the nodes on which you want to apply the load and connect those with a dependent node via RBE3 and apply the load on this independent node.

    hi,

    thankyou. so if i want to apply a load of 25 N then can i select the nodes as a set and divide 25 N  by no of nodes in that set  and give that value in spcd to apply a load of 25 N as a whole??

    @jahnavi

    I am sorry I did not understand your modelling approach,

    How are you apply FORCE through SPCD?

    SPCD defines enforced displacement, Vel or acceleration.

    i want to to force analysis of a standing human body  standing on a bus so i can't restrict that with spcs so i want to give force only in dof3 direction? how should i do that

    in spcd there is a option of load also in type so i thought of doing that

    @jahnavi

    Instead you can use FORCE as it is.

    One of the following maybe correct when you are using SPCD:

    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>RLOAD.PNG
