Why is it required that a minimum gap for impact activity exists? Why can't it just be 0? And for which reasons should I not use the default settings which calculate the gap based on the element's size?

Hi Pedro,
By defining a Gapmin, the user is setting a minimum gap to activate the contact interface. Even if the user leave it as default or zero, the software will calculate the distance by its own based on the Igap flag.
