It depends on what unit system you are following. Its reciprocal of stiffness.

Compliance is considered as reciprocal of Stiffness, provided applied force is constant.
In theory, C= f^2/2K, where f(say, N) is the force and K(N/mm) is the stiffness. So this makes N-mm,.. as compliance unit.
Hello we are trying to optimize the absorption energy using honeycomb structure, under an impact. Can we use compliance or weighted compliance as a measure of the internal energy abosbed by our strucutre.If yes how can we do that?
