Lattice type is not set properly
hello everyone.I am trying to do lattice optimization of a component in order to reduce its weight with the parameters selected - as in picture below:( Also had tried with lot of different target lengths and min/max dia for the lattice).
but most of the time I get a warning message - (design violation) from analysis run. Upon checking the inspirerunhistory > optimization > (the relevent file) > progress (text document)
i found text written that Realizing model #--------Lattice type is not set properly-- as in picture below:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
can someone please help me understand the issue and it's possible solution.

Hi Lala,
Have you tried to turn type of the optimization to 'max. stiffness'?
It seems to me, your min. safety factor isn't achievable with your BCs and loads.

Thanks Felix Radisch for the response.
I have not tried optimization to 'max. stiffness' , in fact my goal is to minimise the mass of component by integrating lattice in it so i am choosing objective as minimize mass.
And as for the min. safety factor I set it to 1.2 and by changing lattice length and min/max dia I am getting min. safety factor from 1 to 1.4 (shown in picture below). Also I would like to highlight the fact that the min safety factor is occuring on edge of hole that can be improved by fillet or removing lattice from it and all other critical areas have high safety factor.(Also shown in picture).
What do you suggest now??.
