Error ID 268 and Error ID 760 Please help me with these errors.

    Hi Ganesh,

    Error id 760 is a generalized modelling error and so we can only sort this out by reviewing your model file.

    Please share the file so that we can check.

    Dear George,

    I cant share model Coz of confidentiality.

    can you just help me with contact type 24, there are  some flags in contact type 24.

    model contains ball bearing and friction between balls and races is 0.08. what other parameters should i choose.

    I have gone through element quality, property, materials, but I have doubt in contact.

    Hi Ganesh,

    You can try with Istf=4, Idel=2, Inacti = -1.

    Please share the complete starter out (_0000.out) file which will list the modelling errors so that we can review. No model info will be there in starter out file and so you can share the same.

    Hi Ganesh.

    This seems like the model is big and really needs more hardware specifications for your machine. There is also a chance for any bugs, and you can try running in latest HyperWorks version.

    I also recommend you to try running in another machine which has a bigger amount of memory.

     

    Regarding error id 760, as mentioned before it's a generalized error and need the model to sort out this error. Try running the model checker so that it will list the possible modelling issues and you can correct it.
