Hi Kartik,
Make the shell elements to second order (2D>>Order Change) and try running.

Hi Kartik,
Recreate the rigids (select the mid nodes also as independent nodes) and try running the analysis.

Hi,
I couldn't understand, what do you mean

Do you mean the component Rigid?
I have selected the mid side nodes while creating the rigid body and also the boundary condition. Still the error is persisting.
Also if i don't open the HM file and import the .rad file i am getting this kind of error.

Hi Kartik,
Sorry, there is mistake.
This property is only compatible with solid elements. For assigning a thick shell property you should have a layer of hexa elements.

Hi,
In this particular problem,
1. I first created a 2D quad Mesh of 2nd order
2. Then I went to 3D mesh --- Element order ---- Thicken Shell to create a 3D hex mesh. But when I do It my component seems to vanish.
Is the above procedure correct?

Hi ,
Now I have changed the whole structure with the above process and again doing with the thick shell element.
1. I have changed the whole structure using the above method.
2. I have done the same procedure again for the whole structure, Even changing the order to 2nd and Isolid to 16 doesn't have any effect. However here I am uploading the 1st order element once only as 2nd order consumes a lot of time.

Hi ,
I removed the error thank you for the support. It seems my version requires me to create a new component and put the mesh in it.
thanking you,
